Risky Business

With few companies taking on extra staff, Vertica approached me as they now had "some time on their hands" to take a look at refreshing their website.

The client was very specific with their request to bolster the logo of "one rock balancing on top of another", representing the balance of skills and time within their industry. With a focus on this I remembered a photograph I had taken whilst on holiday in Canada the previous year and set about making it the focus of the design. It's also nice to know that it is a one off and there isn't much chance of it showing up elsewhere as many royalty free images do. Also not paying through the nose for stock photography kept the client sweet.
