All bright and shiny

Now this is what I call fun - a client with the notion that the product is the star and as much real estate should be given to the design of the showcase for the product as the functionality behind it all.

The client was very pleased with the initial design and the identity that evolved. Without too many changes the build commenced. Many suppliers, the managing of image resource and the current financial climate has made this slow going. After trying a few different open source CMS I decided to go with Magento as it seemed to offer the most comprehensive functionality for on-line stores.

After spending many hours banging my head against a Magento brick wall, trying and failing to integrate my CSS into Magento I decided I would need some expert help to progress. I came across a company based in Manchester who peported to be experts in Magento and Ampersand IT turned out to be just that. With their help the build moved much quicker and we soon built up a very good working relationship.

The Bathroomscenes website is now due to go live later this year...
